Privacy & data handling

This beta is BYOK (bring your own OpenRouter key). We minimize data collection.

What stays local

Your CSV file is processed in your browser. We do not store your CSV on our servers. If you choose "Remember on this device", your OpenRouter API key is stored in your browser's localStorage only. We also store your selected model id locally to prefill the form.

What is sent to OpenRouter

For LLM classification, we send merchant, amount, currency, and date to OpenRouter, along with the model id you selected. Your OpenRouter API key is used to authorize the request and is not stored on our servers.

Usage metrics

We log anonymous usage events (step views and classification outcomes) to understand funnel drop-offs. These events include a random anonymous id, a session id, a timestamp, page path, and basic counts. We do not log raw transaction data or merchant strings.

If analytics is enabled, these events are sent to our analytics provider (Mixpanel). The provider may process network metadata (such as IP) under their policies.

Third-party policy

OpenRouter is a third-party service. Your use is subject to their terms and privacy policies. Do not upload sensitive data if you are not comfortable with these terms.
